Built in South Africa, for the documents South African practices actually owe.
MedReport exists because the hard part of clinical documentation is not getting the consult onto the page. It is choosing the right document, filling it completely, signing it in a way that holds up, and knowing which ones are still outstanding at five o'clock.
Software that drafts,a clinician who signs.
Every design decision in MedReport comes back to one line: the doctor's name is on the document and ours is not. That is why a clinical flag can never block a signature, why a signature cannot be delegated to staff, and why the seal is built for the person who signed rather than for us to report on them.
It is also why we made an unfashionable choice about completeness. MedReport does refuse to sign a document that is structurally incomplete, because a medical certificate without a return date is not a judgement call, it is a document that will be sent back.
